Bristol University Battery

Scientists at Bristol University are hopeful about developments in Battery technology. Using materials like lithium and cobalt to decarbonize energy and transport systems will cause it’s own set of environmental issues. These materials are used to make eg car batteries which store energy and are mined in places like Congo, Chile and Bolivia. So, a hopeful report came on 5th Jan 2022 with papers describing sodium and potassium ion batteries. These have specially developed anodes (ie positive terminals)
