Southwold Harbour Works begin

Workers arrived at 6.15am this morning at Southwold Harbour. They say that they are starting approx 6 weeks of maintenance works. Repairs will be carried out to the fenders on the North pier. The work involves the placing of steel piles. A small area of beach will be fenced off to facilitate site safety and there may be restrictions to the car park area.
